Refugees’ stories – can they change negative attitudes of European citizens?

The article discusses about the role of mass media and its importance informing the society about the situation of refugees and presenting their personal stories. It is said that often these stories can harm the people who are in the epicentric of tragic events – the dramatic stories about the refugees distort the real understanding about the refugee crisis and even contribute to the feeling of global panic, which in turn provokes not always adequate Government decisions to solve the crisis.
