“Migration Policy Group” disseminated an analysis which compares refugee integration figures in fourteen European Union states, including Lithuania. The report that overlooks the period between 2017 and 2019 is part of “NIEM: National Integration Evaluation Mechanism” transnational project.
The document concludes that Lithuania stands among the states that implemented the greatest share of positive changes in the field of refugee integration. Along with France which improved ten out of twelve figures proposed by the research mechanism, Lithuania proved progress in eight. In comparison to other countries, Lithuania was dominant among the states that implemented positive changes in the field of employment, education, health and social security.
