In view of the deteriorating epidemiological situation, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania decided to reinstate mandatory mask wearing in indoor spaces, regardless of whether activities are run among people with or without Opportunity passports.
The masks will be mandatory in all enclosed spaces of shopping, service locations, offices, businesses, organizations, during the events, etc.
Exceptions apply to:
- children under the age of 6
- persons with disabilities who, due to their state of health, are unable to wear masks, or when wearing of masks is likely to impair a person’s state of health
- people engaged in sport activities
- individuals who provide services that are incompatible with wearing masks (i.e. performers, athletes, announcers, event presenters, etc.)
