The Government of the Republic of Lithuania has announced that the National Blood Center is expanding the scope of vaccination and opening new vaccination sites.
An additional branch of the Center in Kaunas (13 Vytauto av.) will soon open its doors so that to ensure greater availability of vaccines and answer various questions that residents have in relation to process of vaccination.
The National Blood Center provides the “Comirnaty” vaccine jabs, which can be given to all adults and children aged 12 and older. Pre-registration is not required upon arrival for vaccination – residents will only have to present their ID.
The director of the institution informs that the National Blood Center not only vaccinates people without prior registration, but also contributes to vaccination of companies that have agreed to this in advance – mobile teams of the Center can come and vaccinate employees right on their company premises.
