LRT.LT | IOM to disburse €80,000 in support for Ukrainian refugees in Lithuania

“The International Organization for Migration (IOM) will provide almost 80,000 euros in one-time payments to Ukrainian refugees in Lithuania.

“Citizens of Ukraine or third-country nationals who fled Ukraine after February 24 can receive this cash-based assistance,” IOM Lithuania has said in a press release.

“Special attention is given to unemployed single-parent families with one or more children, pregnant women, 60-65-year-old persons who have already reached retirement age in Ukraine and cannot work in Lithuania, and victims of human trafficking,” it said.

The benefit amounts to 147 euros per person, with an additional 73.5 euros to be given to every other family member, according to the press release.”
