National Human Rights Forum | 2022 is holding a series of events dedicated to the topic of migration.
Discussion | “Protection of vulnerable persons’ rights in the face of threats”
During the event, insights will be shared by:
- Tetiana Barantsova– authorised representative of the Government of Ukraine for the rights of persons with disabilities, chair of the board of international organisation of displaced persons with disabilities Svit Ukrainy.
- Giedrius Viganauskas– Chief specialist at Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior.
- Klementina Gruzdienė– Hhead of Alytus association Lietaus Vaikai.
- Dovilė Juodkaitė– President of Lithuanian Disability Forum.
- Eglė Samuchovaitė– Head of Asylum and Migration Program, Lithuanian Red Cross.
The discussion will be moderated by Raigardas Musnickas (journalist, editor at “Žinių Radijas”).

Where? Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania conference hall (5th floor)
During the event, translation to Ukrainian / Lithuanian and sign languages will be ensured.

During the event, insights will be shared by:

- Agneta Ladek– Adviser to the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Erika Leonaitė – Seimas Ombudsperson, Head of the Seimas Ombudspersons’ Office.
- Vladimiras Siniovas– UNHCR Lietuva, Legal Officer.
- Laura Perevičiūtė– Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Head of Foreigners Integration Group.
- Živilė Dambrauskaitė– author of the study “Migration from Belarus and Economic, Social and Political Integration of Immigrants in Lithuania”.
- Matteo deBellis – researcher on migration and asylum at Amnesty International (International Secretariat – Europe Regional Office).
The discussion wil be moderated by Roberta Tracevičiūtė (journalist of political affairs).
